Yes I am happy to hear about the progress in throwing more money into a black hole without fixing the root causes which include overcrowding, overworked nurses and doctors and other medical staff, no beds, comfortable no chairs, no stretchers and no basic equipment. US$110 Million Oyster Bay Hotel So if it cost US $20 million to build Hospiten, which has 22 beds, that means with the US$110 million used to build Oyster Bay hotel, 5 public hospital could have been built to relieve the pressure caused by overcrowding at Cornwall Regional Hospital. How many luxury hotels are there in Montego Bay, a city of 80,000 people? And how many public hospitals? People wake up! You have been scammed by the government! So now I want to know, Who is reponsible for educating the public about where they need to go while these renovations are being done? And how well equipped are these other hospitals and clinics? I also communicated with a former highschool mate who is now a medical doctor and this doctor told me something similar, that now that healthcare is free in Jamaica, everyone rushes to the hospital whether or not their case is an emergency. Now of course we are all happy that there is free healthcare, but now the healthcare management will have to develop a strategy to to handle the triage areas so that there is not overcrowding.
